You were created to walk with God in the garden in the cool of the day. Sin came into the world and you bore the consequences. Jesus came and reversed the curse and took your place and invited you to take his yoke that is easy and his burden that is light. You are a child of God creation longs to be revealed. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (HCSB) Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely. And may your spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again.

Am I working with God or against Him to keep my spirit soul and body holy?

Lord, I thank you that you care about our whole being. You want our spirit, soul and body to be kept holy and set apart for you. I thank you that it’s not about keeping a list of things to do and not do, but it’s about keeping in step with your Holy Spirit and only doing what we see you doing and only saying what we hear you saying. And thank you Holy Spirit for empowering us to do that. Amen.
